Speech-writing: a profession whose time has come in India

I think there is a misunderstanding that the speech-writer writes the speech all by himself, gives it to the leader who stands up and reads it out. It doesn’t happen like this at all. In reality, the speech-writer’s job is to collaborate and co-create a speech with the leader. They are in this together.
